WHAT IS A HASHING ALGORITHM A SHA3-224

SHA3-224 is a cryptographic hash function that takes data of arbitrary length as input and produces a hash value of a fixed length of 224 bits. It is one of the variants of the Keccak algorithm that was selected as the winner of the 2012 National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) hash function selection competition.

SHA3-224 provides collision resistance, which means that in theory it is very difficult to find two different messages that give the same hash value. It is also resistant to message preprocessing, which means that changing even one bit in the original message should result in completely different hash values.

SHA3-224 is widely used in various cryptographic protocols such as TLS/SSL, SSH, IPsec and others.
