WHAT IS A HASHING ALGORITHM A FNV132
FNV1a-32 or FNV132 is a hashing algorithm that is used to convert an arbitrary input sequence (such as a string) into an output 32-bit hash value. "FNV" stands for "Fowler–Noll–Vo", the names of the three authors who developed this algorithm.
The FNV132 algorithm is based on a polynomial hash function using prime numbers, multiplication and addition. It is widely used as a fast hashing algorithm for checksumming, data integrity checking, indexing, and string comparison in programming languages such as C and C++.
