Bitmap format

The PCX format is a bitmap image in the PC Paintbrush program format, which was developed by ZSoft Corporation in 1985. PCX images can be represented in the following color modes: black and white, 16 colors, grayscale (8 bit), paletted (8 bit), or RGB (24 bit).
